Thanatos Institute Granted Injunction Against Inaccurate Reporting
LONDON, England, March 31, 2005 -
The Thanatos Institute today was granted an injunction by the High Court,
against a leading British media organization which was planning to publish
an inaccurate report concerning certain recent events near Quan'sul.
Head of the Institute, Dr. Liberty said "We are very pleased with the
Court's decision. We believe the organization's report contains a number
of inaccurate statements, and even though the report did not expressly
link its alarmist claims to the Institute, or the recent unfortunate
aircrash in the area, we felt that we had to step in to prevent damaging
and unfounded speculation."
Corporate Counsel, Jeff Holzgang added "We understand that the media
organization in question, prepared a web page containing a version of
their report, which they had planned to publish tomorrow morning. While
that organization will not now be publishing the web page in question, we
understand that some copies of the file may have been circulated on the
Internet. We would urge anybody receiving copies of that news report HTML
file, concerning Quan'sul, to delete all copies in their possession, and
neither to pass the file on, nor publish the file on the Internet. In the
event that they disregard our request, we will review our legal options."
