Thanatos Institute Aircraft Crashes

MARZOUK, Republic of Qubari, March 25, 2005 -

The Thanatos Institute regrets to announce that one of its aircraft, an SBJ S-21, that was en route from the Sunan to Qubari, transporting certain biological and medical provisions, crashed near Quan'sul, just to the South of the border with Laos. News is still coming in, however, early reports indicate that there were no casualties on the ground. Sadly, it does however appear that both flight crew, Captain Nick Pegg and Co-pilot Simon Frost, were killed in the accident.

In a prepared statement, the head of the Thanatos Institute, Dr. Liberty, said that he regretted the loss of life in the unfortunate accident, but said that it would not stop the Institute's important and continuing work. He also stated that the entire Institute's sympathies and condolences were with the men's families, and urged the press to respect their privacy.
